Defender of the crown - Ladies to the rescue

Back in 1986 Cinemaware published Defender of the crown for the Commodore Amiga.
Not long after, the commodore 64 version was released.
It is now to be found on various platforms. Latest is the browser and Android edition.

How to rescue a Saxon ladie in defender of the crown?
